Daniel Sigmund is a winemaker based in the Eisack Valley of South Tyrol, Italy. His estate specializes in producing Silvaner wines from up to 60-year-old vines situated on a south-facing slope at an altitude of up to 770 meters. The vineyard's unique microclimate and soil composition contribute to the wines' distinct character. Sigmund uses spontaneous fermentation and minimal intervention techniques, resulting in wines that are complex, dynamic, and reflective of their origin.
