In the rugged hills of Barbagia, Sardinia, the Sedilesu family crafts wines deeply rooted in place. Francesco and Rosa, together with their children Giovanni (and his wife Elisabetta), Giuseppe, and Vincenza, established Teularju in 2017—though their vineyard work began over two decades earlier. Inspired by Burgundy's commitment to terroir, Teularju emphasizes the uniqueness of their land through their four distinct Ghiradas—traditional Sardinian vineyard parcels. Each Ghirada, named after local geographic features passed down through generations, contributes its own subtle character to the wines.
Primarily cultivating Cannonau, a Sardinian variety known internationally as Grenache, they've also embraced Granatza, a rare indigenous white grape. With meticulous care and minimal intervention, Teularju's wines speak eloquently of their micro-terroirs, offering elegance amidst Sardinia's wild landscape.
