Domaine Antoine Lienhardt is a rising star in Burgundy, based in the village of Comblanchien in the Côte de Nuits. Antoine farms a tiny parcel of old-vine Pinot Noir, with most vines planted in the 1950s on limestone soils just outside the famed appellations. Working entirely organically and with low yields, his wines are focused, precise, and structured. In the cellar, Antoine is hands-off, allowing native yeasts to ferment and using only older oak for aging, which gives the wines purity and freshness. His bottlings reflect a clear vision of what Burgundy can be: transparent, honest, and driven by the soil.
