Domaine de L’Horizon is a biodynamic estate in Calce, Roussillon, founded by German winemaker Thomas Teibert. With a focus on old vines of Grenache, Carignan, Macabeu, and Grenache Gris, the domaine produces pure, site-driven wines from the rugged schist and limestone soils of the region. Farming is meticulous and hands-on, while cellar work is minimal with spontaneous fermentation and aging in old barrels or concrete. The wines are savory, mineral-rich, and full of Mediterranean energy, showing both freshness and depth.
