Collection: Jean-François Essler

Jean-François Essler is a passionate winemaker based in Grusse, Jura, France. Formerly a graphic designer and wine merchant, Essler transitioned to winemaking and established his own estate, focusing on organic and biodynamic practices. He cultivates approximately three hectares of vines, including Poulsard, Chardonnay, and Trousseau, using manual labor and herbal preparations to maintain soil health and biodiversity. In the cellar, Essler employs spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and minimal sulfur, resulting in wines that are elegant, complex, and true to their origins.
