Collection: Sebastian Morin

Sébastien Morin is a natural winemaker based in the southern Beaujolais. His journey into winemaking began in the early 2000s after a chance encounter with Jura legend Jean-Marc Brignot. Morin spent much of the next decade juggling his desk job in Paris with travelling to the Jura to observe and assist in Brignot's cellar. Since 2015, he has been farming 1,5 hectares of Gamay planted on sandy granitic soils, with an average age of 35 to 45 years. Morin practices organic and biodynamic viticulture, applying herbal teas to promote soil health and biodiversity. The harvest is manual, and in the cellar, he employs long macerations, slow pressing, and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
