Collection: Tenuta Saiano

Perched on a hillside overlooking a dramatic valley, and opposite the towering rock that is San Marino, lies the estate of Tenuta Saiano.

Saiano is more thanjust a winery, it is an agri-turismo and an entire ecological system. Spearheaded by Alex Fulvi and his partner Olivia Maggioli, whose family owns the estate, they have created a beautiful space respectful of nature and its rhythms.

They work organically with biodynamic principles and find ways to integrate the other elements of the estate, using waste from their animals for fertilizer, and to help manage cover crops. The soil is littered with limestone, giving the wines a fine, saline touch.
