Teularju is a family-run winery in the heart of Sardinia farming Cannonau, which is also known as Grenache, but has been present on the island for hundreds of years. The higher elevation of their vineyards helps provide a beautiful elegance and balance in the wines.

Ghirada refers to a single-plot of vines, or a "cru". Ocruarana is a 2ha plot with predominantly sandy and granitic soils. The presence of greenish metamorphic stone in the soil called ocruarana lends the plot and wine its name.

The wine is intensely aromatic with small red fruits and wild strawberry dominating the nose along with a beautiful herbal touch of liquorice and sage. Amazing texture and freshness on the palate.

Teularju

High in the rugged hills of Barbagia, Sardinia, the Sedilesu family founded Teularju to celebrate the deep connection between land, tradition, and family. Led by Francesco and Rosa with their children Giovanni, Giuseppe, and Vincenza, Teularju officially began in 2017, though their roots in viticulture stretch back over 20 years. Inspired by Burgundy’s devotion to terroir, they focus on Sardinia’s historic Ghiradas, ancestral vineyard parcels that each express a unique character. Their primary grape is Cannonau, with the rare Granatza adding depth to their story of local heritage.
