Champagne Guenin Vers le Bois 2017 2017

Champagne Guenin is a small domaine in the Côte des Bar currently ran by the 10th generation Sebastien and his wife, Alex. With vineyards rooted in the limestone and clay soils of the Aube, Guenin produces Pinot Noir along with limited quantities of Champagne. The farming is organic and the winemaking is low-intervention, emphasizing native yeast fermentations and long aging on the lees. Each cuvée offers a snapshot of its vintage and terroir, reflecting a commitment to transparency and place. Guenin is part of a growing movement of thoughtful, terroir-first growers redefining Champagne.
