Cigliano di Sopra is the revival of a historic Chianti Classico estate, now led by the next generation, Matteo Vaccari and Maddalena Fucile. The pair met while studying enology and have since brought new energy and vision to Maddalena’s family land. Rooted in the heart of Tuscany, their focus is on Sangiovese, complemented by small plantings of Trebbiano and Merlot. Farming organically and working with care, they aim to let the vineyard speak through every bottle. Their approach blends tradition with a light, modern, and thoughtful touch.
