Clos des Vignes du Maynes Mâcon Cruzille Aragonite 2015

Clos des Vignes du Maynes is a historic domaine in the Mâconnais, farmed organically since 1954 and biodynamically since the 1990s. Run by Julien Guillot, the estate produces soulful, natural wines from ancient vines of Gamay, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. The winemaking is defiantly non-interventionist with native yeasts, no sulfites, and aging only in old wood or amphora. The wines are full of life, textured, mineral, and often slightly wild, but always balanced. Each cuvée speaks to the vineyard's deep historical roots and Julien’s radical transparency.
