Fabio Gea is one of the most enigmatic, experimental, and quite frankly, craziest winemakers in Piedmont, crafting tiny quantities of highly expressive, natural wines in Barbaresco. Trained as a geologist, Fabio brings scientific precision and radical creativity to his micro-production of Nebbiolo and Dolcetto. He uses ceramic vessels of his own design, minimal sulfur, and spontaneous fermentations to craft wines that are both cerebral and emotional. The wines are textural, vivid, and utterly unique, showing classic varietal character through a wild, natural lens
