Fabio Gea is one of the most enigmatic, experimental, and quite frankly, craziest winemakers in Piedmont, crafting tiny quantities of highly expressive, natural wines in Barbaresco. Trained as a geologist, Fabio brings scientific precision and radical creativity to his micro-production of Nebbiolo and Dolcetto. He uses ceramic vessels of his own design, minimal sulfur, and spontaneous fermentations to craft wines that are both cerebral and emotional.
