Lichtenberger Gonzalez Tres Quartros 2021

Adriana Gonzalez and Martin Lichtenberger are an amazing winemaking couple who are making some of the most elegant, salty, and precise wines from the region’s native grapes. They are focused on Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, and Weissburgunder for the whites, and primarily Blaufränkisch for the reds. Working organically in the vineyards, in the cellar they seek to pull out texture, freshness, and minerality from their wines. Their soil is rich with limestone which helps to give the wines a linear mouthfeel, and is part of the reason they feel so strongly about their location and their vines.
