Domaine de la Cras Coteaux de Dijon Rouge 2022

Domaine de la Cras is a unique, organically farmed estate located just outside Dijon and run by Marc Soyard. The estate is owned by the city of Dijon and was granted to Marc, who formerly trained at Domaine Bizot, to farm and vinify Burgundy in a forward-thinking, natural way. He works with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, using native yeasts, whole cluster fermentation, and aging in neutral oak. The wines are precise, and full of character, showcasing the freshness and minerality of Dijon's marl and limestone soils. Marc brings a new energy to Burgundy, making wines that are both accessible and profound.
