Cool-climate Syrah at its finest. Vincent Ruiz hails from the Northern Rhone originally, and so even though he is now making wine in the Savoie at Domaine du Gringet, he still manages to find some time to vinify some wine from his home region. 

This negoce project is made with organically grown grapes from a  400m high plateau. This helps keep the wines balanced and fresh. Yseult Mon Amour is vinified using whole cluster which brings very bright and floral aromatic notes, while on the palate the wine jumps with blue and black berry fruit notes, and a juicy freshness. Light tannins help round everything out. A great example of how Syrah can be so elegant.

Vincent Ruiz

Though part of Domaine du Gringet in Savoie, Vincent remains deeply connected to his roots in the Ardèche. Each year, he returns to the same high-altitude vineyards in Gras, a remote plateau in southern Ardèche known for its striking terroir and long growing season. The grapes, farmed by a close friend, are carefully transported back to Savoie, where Vincent vinifies them with the same gentle approach that defines his style.
