Barbera is typically one of the most common wines drunk in Piedmont by the locals, because it goes so well with food. Daniele's Barbera is no exception. Juicy, brambly, black fruit flavors and aromas define the wine. It has soft tannins and a really energetic mouthfeel. The light touch of wood aging brings some structure to the wine, but the concrete allows the fruit and the terroir to shine through.

Agnelli Viassone

Since taking over the family winery in 2020, Alessia and Daniele have been carving out their own path in Diano d’Alba. Committed to organic farming, they’ve transitioned their vineyards to biodynamic practices that emphasize regenerative agriculture and biodiversity. Although they acquired their first Barolo vineyard in 2023, Daniele’s passion for Dolcetto remains central to their story. The wines of Agnelli Viassone reveal the often-overlooked terroirs of the region, showcasing the results of their careful, hands-on vineyard work.
