Made from old-vine Chenin grown on a mix of schist and phtanite, Clos de Belligne is a rich, late-harvest expression with remarkable balance. After over two years of slow fermentation and long élevage, the wine shows deep golden color and complex aromas of quince, dried apricot, and linden flower, grounded by a subtle stony minerality. On the palate, it’s textured and generous, the immense sweetness is balanced by bright acidity. A concentrated but remarkably drinkable wine that captures the elegance of Chenin in its most opulent form.

Domaine Les Canons

Nestled in the back hills of Bonnezeaux, Domaine Les Canons represents 11 generations of organic farming in the heart of the Loire Valley. Matthieu and Florent continue their family’s legacy with simple, traditional winemaking that prioritize freshness and purity. While Bonnezeaux is known for its luscious sweet wines made from botrytized Chenin Blanc, the domaine primarily crafts powerful, dry Chenin Blanc that showcase the mineral rich terroir.
