Grown in Pommard on humid, clay-heavy soils, Les Lormes is distinctly textured and structured. Unlike Petit-Roy's usual whole-cluster approach, this Pinot Noir is fully destemmed and gently handled, undergoing semi-carbonic maceration to bring out supple red fruit and soft floral aromas. Silky and generous on the palate, with dark cherry fruit, gentle spice, and plush tannins. A beautifully rounded wine, revealing Seiichi Saito's sensitive touch and commitment to purity.

Domaine Petit-Roy

Born in China and raised in Japan, Seiichi Saito moved to Burgundy in 2006 to pursue his passion for wine. After studying in Beaune and spending many years gaining experience with some of the region’s most respected domaines, he founded Domaine Petit-Roy in Chorey-Les-Beaune. Here he farms vineyards across Burgundy and crafts a diverse range of wines, with a focus on the Côte de Beaune. Seiichi has a particular affinity for the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, seeing it as a key area for Burgundy’s future amid climate challenges. His approach is gentle and respectful, letting the land speak for itself.
