A beautiful expression from Savigny-lès-Beaune, there is a hint of noble reduction on the nose here, which leads to a palate which is broad, textured and hits the perfect balance of what we look for in great Burgundy- beautiful fresh acidity, and mouthfilling roundness to balance it out. Keeping in with Seiichi's style, a hint of wood is perceptive, but only just and keeps you coming back for more. Sure not to disappoint both fans of classic and slightly more modern Burgundy styles.

Domaine Petit-Roy

Born in China and raised in Japan, Seiichi Saito moved to Burgundy in 2006 to pursue his passion for wine. After studying in Beaune and spending many years gaining experience with some of the region’s most respected domaines, he founded Domaine Petit-Roy in Chorey-Les-Beaune. Here he farms vineyards across Burgundy and crafts a diverse range of wines, with a focus on the Côte de Beaune. Seiichi has a particular affinity for the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, seeing it as a key area for Burgundy’s future amid climate challenges. His approach is gentle and respectful, letting the land speak for itself.
