The Schmetterling or "Butterfly" is a great example of Rob & Derek's creativity and willingness to try new things which were typically not done in the Mosel. This blend of 80% Riesling and 20% Müller-Thurgau is beautifully floral and bright on the nose, and then very stony and mineral on the palate. Despite a light 10% abv, the texture is noticeably round and fill the mouth in a pleasant way.
