Romain Le Bars
Romain Le Bars is a winemaker based in the southern Rhône Valley, France, known for his innovative approach to natural winemaking. After studying law and working in the restaurant industry, he shifted his focus to viticulture, training in Saumur and working alongside Eric Pfifferling at Domaine L'Anglore. In 2018, he established his own winery, farming approximately 10 hectares across the AOC Tavel, Lirac, and Vin de France appellations. Le Bars uses organic and biodynamic practices, utilizing techniques such as carbonic maceration and direct pressing to produce wines that are fresh, vibrant, and expressive.
