Colle Florido consists of the husband and wife team of Andrea Ugolotti and Daniella Trolio. Both of whom started their lives in different careers, Andrea a sommelier, working in Michelin starred restaurants, and Daniella an architect in Paris.
But a love of the land and the desire to be closer to it brought them to Daniella’s home of Pescara, Abruzzo. Building a family and a sustainable winery is now their main goal in life. Utmost care for the farming is the key, they work organically and employ many traditional methods. Andrea will alway say that he does not seek to emulate any other winery, but they want to show and develop their own style and story.
