Franz Weninger Stein Furmint 2021

Franz Weninger hails from Burgenland, Austria. Franz’s life and focus on wine is tied up with the winemaking history of the region as his family has been present in the Neusiedler See area for over 180 years. The Weninger estate makes wines on both the Austrian and the Hungarian side of the sea and focuses on both Austrian and Hungarian grape varieties, reflecting the history of the region when there was not previously a border between the areas. Franz farms his land biodynamically and is a true master in the cellar, ensuring clean, lively, and exciting wines.
