Obeideh is a native grape to Lebanon, long used for Arak production. It has only recently become more well-known for wine, partly thanks to Maher's dedication for this grape. Growing at a high elevation, like the other wines he sources, this is clearly a mountain wine.

Lovely Jasmin floral notes dominate the nose. The palate is fresh and crisp like mountain spring water. The winemaking which is focused on stainless steel helps to keep the fresh fruit aromas bound into the wine and highlights the terroir.

Maher’s journey is a return to roots, shaped by loss, resilience, and a deep love for his native Lebanon. After years in France, he came back to the Lebanese mountains seeking meaning, finding it in the land where his father once stood. There, he works with old-vine native varieties and a few European varieties to craft wines that express the raw beauty of Lebanon’s high-altitude terroir. A true pioneer, Maher was among the first in Lebanon to become certified biodynamic. His minimalist approach in the cellar allows the purity of the fruit and the spirit of the land to shine through.
